Directions to St. Paul

Sunday Worship:
Our Sunday morning worship reflects both our traditional background and our contemporary community. The Contemporary Worship Service (8:00 AM) offers a wide variety of music which is led by a piano, guitars, flute and a Praise Team of song leaders.

Our late service (10:45 AM) is our traditional Lutheran worship which offers historic music accompanied by the organ. Between worship services, St. Paul's also offers a Sunday School for ages 3 - high school, along with an Adult Bible Class dealing with day to day Christian topics for life (9:40 AM).

Formed in 1868, St. Paul's is a congregation with more than 600 members. Our heritage dates back to the days of Martin Luther who pioneered the reformation of the church to return to the original teachings of the Bible. God has blessed us with faithful people who serve in teaching, worship, youth, adult and senior programs.

St. Paul's has gone thru many changes in our over 130 year history. God’s Word doesn’t change, be we continue to change in the ways that more effectively bring the message of Jesus Christ to our community.

Over the years we have developed a very active Sunday School and Youth program, as well as offering worship in both a contemporary and traditional style.

Our members come from the immediate areas of Matteson, Frankfort and Tinley Park and also from many of the surrounding communities throughout the southern suburbs. Membership is not a requirement for worship--we are here to be your hosts, and hope that you will join us soon.
