We are excited about our new outreach program called Angel Food Ministries.  This ministry allows anyone to purchase boxes of food at just over half of grocery store prices.   This ministry allows us to help those in our community who are in need and also make new Christian contacts.  Get all the details below to see how you can participate or help out in the program.

Angel Foods groceries are sold in a quantity that can fit into a medium sized box at $25 per unit. Each month's menu consists of both fresh and frozen items with an average retail value between $50-$75. Generally, one box of food assists in feeding a family of four for about one week or a single senior citizen for almost a month. The food is the same high quality that one would purchase at a grocery store, not damaged or out-dated goods.

 WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

 EVERYONE can participate in this ministry. There are no income limits or qualifications that must be met in order to purchase one of these boxes. The menu changes each month. Menus will be available in the bulletin and also on:  www.angelfoodministries.com  

There are no limits to the number of boxes an individual can order. Boxes must be paid in full when you place your order. Order deadline and pick-up day will be available with that month's menu. There are usually monthly specials available for an additional charge, but only with the purchase of a $25.00 box.

DISTRIBUTION DAY

ON DISTRIBUTION DAY, ORDERS MAY BE PICKED UP AT THE CHURCH. 

Orders will not be held. There are no refunds once an order is placed. Unclaimed boxes will be given to families in need.

HOW YOU CAN HELP 

Volunteers are needed to work on distribution day. Unloading The truck Early one Saturday morning a month or help box up the food during pick-up time and/or carry out the food, please contact Jennifer Borgm an at (708) 747-9647.

HOW DOES THIS MINISTRY HELP THE COMMUNITY

• Gives volunteers a hands-on experience with a rewarding service.
• Allows us to possibly increase membership
• Provides discounted groceries not only to those in need, but for anyone who appreciates deep discounts.
• Perhaps you know a family in need, you can purchase a box for them.
• Announces us to the community to let others know we are here to help

Payment must be made at time of order checks and money orders should be made payable to St. Paul's.

Orders can be placed M-f  at the church office during normal office hours or on Tuesday evening from 5-7pm or on Sundays between 8-10:45 services
